"Skinny jeans are out. It's all about boot cut now." Said a woman with a great booty when we were having a conversation about how amazing her butt looked in her Levi's.
We were discussing the denim style that looked the best on her shape. My go to has been the skinny fit cause I have chicken legs and it’s the most flattering to my shape. The irony is it took me years to embrace skinny jeans because I have large feet and I'm insecure about looking like I'm always wearing clown shoes.
Conspiracy theory alert:
I'm pretty sure the Denim industry is behind style changes. Here's why:
Denim can last forever so how do they keep you coming back to spend your money if you don't need new jeans? Your current style has become out of fashion and now you need to go buy a whole new set of jeans so you don't look like an idiot.
So I guess it's time to go back to the consignment store and buy back that lot of boot cut jeans I finally got rid of. Yay!
